Browsing HireGolang
HireGolang runs on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes network information needed to deliver and protect the site, including IP addresses and request headers. Application request logging is disabled. The site does not collect applications or resumes. The optional future email list is described below.
Your theme choice
The theme follows your device setting unless you choose Light or Dark. That choice is saved in browser storage and a theme-preference cookie. Browsing works when storage is blocked.
Optional measurement
Cloudflare traffic and performance measurement stays off until you enable it in the Measurement privacy control. Your choice lasts in the current tab. Global Privacy Control, Do Not Track and the off control prevent new collection.
When enabled, Cloudflare receives page paths, load timing, browser/device information and performance measurements. Incoming referrers prevent the beacon from starting. Query strings, search text, form content and access credentials are excluded. Split-pane navigation does not create extra Cloudflare page loads.
The only stored custom event is an Apply click. It includes the job and company IDs, interaction type, production environment and release version. It does not include an email address, IP address, user agent, referrer or visitor identifier. Other event hooks stay in the page. An Apply click is not a completed application.
Apply counts are stored in Cloudflare Analytics Engine, which retains data for three months. The site does not use advertising trackers or fingerprinting. Measurement can miss blocked requests and include repeated clicks.
Contact and removal requests
The contact form stores your request, the affected page, a receipt reference and the email address you choose to provide. These are held in a private Cloudflare D1 inbox accessible to the site operator through the Cloudflare account. Requests are not public or sent to employers. We use them to handle corrections, removals and privacy requests. Do not include a resume, identification number or other sensitive information.
Requests remain in that inbox until the operator removes them. Automated request deletion is not enabled. Cloudflare also provides database recovery copies. Contact the operator through the form to request access, correction or deletion of a request; include your receipt reference.
The future HireGolang email list
When you choose “Join future list”, we save your email for future first-party HireGolang marketing about Go jobs, hiring and the Go job market. This is single-opt-in collection: we record the purpose and exact opt-in text, its version, your join action and timestamp. We do not check that you own the address. Outbound email and campaigns are disabled in this release; joining does not send you a message or promise a delivery schedule.
You can stop after the email save. Optional follow-up questions cover your reason for visiting, career level, work mode, broad region and update interests. These preferences are stored separately from consent. They do not give permission for unrelated marketing. Employer sharing stays off.
The list, requests and optional answers are stored in private Cloudflare D1 tables. Authenticated operator access and export are available; public routes cannot read the list. Emails, answers and session tokens are excluded from analytics and application logs. A secure, HttpOnly cookie lets you edit only your own newly submitted request for 30 minutes. The cookie contains an opaque capability, not your email. Rate controls use a temporary keyed network digest rather than a stored raw IP address.
During that session, review or withdraw your request. The originating session can also delete the saved address. After it expires, use the privacy contact form to request access, correction, withdrawal or deletion; include the address concerned privately. The operator may need enough information to establish your authority over an existing record. Submitting someone’s email again cannot reveal or change their earlier answers.
Records remain until the operator removes them or you delete them through the originating session; automatic subscriber deletion is not enabled. Deletion removes the live email record and answers. A keyed suppression digest remains to prevent silent rejoining, and provider database recovery copies may retain earlier data. Existing withdrawals stay in place after another join attempt. No emailed unsubscribe link exists because this release sends no email.
Employer websites
Applications happen on employer or ATS websites under their own policies. HireGolang does not see whether you complete an application.
